Description
The double knitting weight wool Merino DK by Cowgirlblues is a hand-dyed dream yarn that comes in soft shimmering shades. It is perfect for accessories as well as entire garments. The yarn comes from South Africa and is dyed under fair conditions by women in rural areas.

Colors may vary and can also differ significantly between skeins or balls with the same lot number. To illustrate this variance, three skeins are placed side by side in the variant photos (the selling price is for one skein). It's recommend working in alternating rows or rounds with the old and new skein just before transitioning to a new one.

Wonderful hand dyed mohairs and merino wools from Cape Town, South Africa, produced with a lot of love and under fair conditions. The founder, Bridget Henderson, collected her inspirations during her worldwide trips as a business consultant. But the most beautiful color combinations emerge in her head when taking a walk with her dog around the Table Mountain. In a mixture of workshop and gallery, her team dyes all kinds of yearn bases into varigated or semi solid colors. The varigateds always contain some of the semi solids, so that they are wonderful to combine. Or different yarn bases in the same color can be combined, too. Just play around with all the different variations and help yourself at her buffet of delicacies.
