Big Bio Balance from BC Garn is a beautiful thick and soft wool, but not too toasty! Big Bio Balance is perfect not only for beginners. Whether you want to knit a scarf or a sweater, Big Bio Balance can handle it all. It’s also perfect for knitting a baby blanket, making it the ideal baby wool!

The yarn is GOTS certified and therefore 100% organic. It is soft and has a great melange effect. The blend of 55% wool and 45% cotton is durable and easy to care for. The manufacturer recommends hand washing this yarn, and we follow that advice. However, numerous practical tests in various washing machines have shown that it can withstand a gentle cycle at 30 degrees Celsius.

The wool used comes from mulesing-free farms in South America. The cotton is grown in Turkey, where the yarn is also spun.
