The 100% natural merino wool yarn of 21 microns from the SURA line is a yarn developed by and for demanding knitters. It is a product of the B-TEX natural yarn division, designed to be a benchmark in its category worldwide.
The best fibers from Argentine Merino sheep is used, only the finest fibers from each animal selected to ensure a maximum fineness of 21 microns. This yarn is spun in Argentina with utmost delicacy and with just the right twist to achieve a very soft touch.

Available in two weights, FINGERING and WORSTED, our 100% 21 µm merino wool line comes in 8 pastel shades, designed to be completely interchangeable.

Merino wool is one of the most noble fibers in the world, with optimal thermal properties in cold conditions. It has natural antibacterial properties, preventing sweat from penetrating the fabric and causing bad odors. It retains heat even when damp or wet. It is soft to the touch, so it does not cause itching, unlike other wools. It repels water, making it an ideal fiber for the rainy season. It contains keratin, providing protection against ultraviolet rays. It is breathable, largely due to the diameter of the fibers and the air gaps in the fabric. Being a high-quality, fine fiber, it has properties such as flexibility and high heat resistance. It is eco-friendly and biodegradable, being a 100% natural fiber, unlike other wools blended with synthetic fibers derived from petroleum, which have a negative impact on the environment.
